(WSAW) – Health services in Wood and Vilas counties confirmed their second COVID-19 case on Thursday.
According to a statement from the Wood County Health Department, the patient is in his 20s and lives in South Wood County. The patient had traveled outside of the United States and followed the recommendations for self-isolation pending test results.
The Vilas County Health Department said the patient in Vilas County is currently isolated and officials are working to contact the people they may have come into contact with.
Wisconsin Health Services Department confirmed 707 cases in the state on Thursday. These two new cases will be added to the total of cases on Friday. This issue is published daily at 2 p.m.
