Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is not kill his own food more - but he still likes the thrill of the hunt.
Billionaire executive spoke about his bow hunting hobby in response to a comment on his recent Facebook post announcing his New Year's resolutions.
"I'm missing the days" I'm going to personally kill what I eat, "said one commentator, referring to one of Zuckerberg's previous challenges in which he had vowed to personally kill any meat he had eaten during a year.
Zuckerberg responded that he always goes hunting, "these days especially with a bow and arrow. He added that his favorite game was the boar.
It is not known if Zuckerberg was serious about wild boar hunting - shooting "wild pigs" was a meme last year from a viral tweet debate the merits of owning assault rifles. A Zuckerberg spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
However, wild boars are abundant on the east coast and in parts of California, according to the National Working Group on Wild Pigs. The USDA has urged hunters to target pigs, which are an invasive species.
